Does anyone make quilts for other people?

Thank you. I was really happy with how it all came together, as initially I thought the colour scheme might be too subtle, but it's actually perfect. It's a pity the silk frayed like a pig, as it was a bit hard to work with, but my client liked the finished effect, with the odd loose thread. She didn't want it "perfect".

That is lovely and a much better idea than a quilt.

Should you have to make another (and I'm sure there is a market for memory mobiles), could you use a very lightweight fusible interfacing on the silk to limit the fraying?

Oh, I used interfacing. I think if I hadn't, not one star would have had a point, and the cats would have been tail-less!
