Im now facing a conundrum in that Im coming to the first animal blocks ...

Do I follow suit with dodgy colours etc or
Do I cut and applique silhouettes of the animals ???
Or do I quilt around animal templates on the blocks ...
which would give the same sort of effect as block 25 below???

Yesterday I did some Darkside catch up and Ive finally up to Block number 30! But first ....

Block 29

Quantity: 4

Size: 5" unfinished

Technique: Pieced

Fabrics: Craft Cotton, Ticking, Hand dyed cotton (SES) Corduroy, Silk and some yellow stuff (SES) that frays like buggery
so I have squared it to 6" before I trim it down when I stitch the blocks together.

Fabrics: Craft Cotton, very dark brown Corduroy, Silk (SES) ... I think, very odd to handle but perfect for the job.
