They look good... sometimes I see the vases first and sometimes the birds 

I could only see bells and no birds.  I can now see the birds!

I will probably revisit and remake at least one, if not both of these as Im not happy with the great big fat slub slap bang in the middle of one square (top block), the points or the B**** Mitred corners!!!!

Lol.  My mum used to collect bells and would stand them on a shelf.  You can't see the clapper then, hence I just see a bell!

The background of this had to be pieced first and the motif appliqued over.

Fabrics used:  Craft Cottons, Frayey Faux Silk (SES), Thin Ribbon



These were a nightmare!

Some are true 5"sq, a couple needs some imagination to be called square.
The sooner I can sew these into a row the better as one of the fabrics (SES) frays like buggery.
Still I made 6 of these (2 went straight into the bin) and could (If I had the patience) go back and redo them...
And they would be better as I know where I went wrong (I think)

Who knows I just might !
