I'm dithering about participating in this.   -<

Feel free to give me a kick up the bum or alternatively, suggest a simple yet effective pattern that could be completed in the time with fabric from the stash.  (I know we had plenty of time.)

Feeling a bit of a Darkside failure - didn't participate in cushion swap, not participating in Solstice mini swap, haven't made a PL quilt.  :(

You are NOT a failure. Ok I've done the Linus quilt but that's all the P&Q I've done for months. I haven't taken part in any of the other swaps - except last years Linus quilt, so what does that make me? Yes there are still a couple of months to go before FOQ and you may do one if you have the time but at times life takes over. If you're at FoQ on the thursday hope to see you then. :)

It's so long since I finished mine I had to read through to remember what the theme is!  Here are a few images pulled from web  of easy designs that would fit the theme of one main colour plus black, white, grey etc.

I totally forgot to take piccies of mine, and it's been with Imi for ages now (I wrapped it around the half made stars quilt we made for Cheesecake's little one when I sent that to @Iminei to do the quilting.   So down to you Imi to take a photo for me (but try not to make it an invisibuble pic )

I’ve been procrastinating too @Pearl but today I sat down to do it only to find that I didn’t have enough stash to make the design I wanted. Hunted through stash again and have started cutting for a different design.  It’s all over the dining table so I’ll need to get the rest cut out tomorrow.  It’s more simple than my original design so I’m sure it will be done.

@Jobunnie and I will be at FOQ on Thursday and Friday.

I'm making a quilt but I won't be taking part in the competition. Mostly because a) I stupidly started it before the decision was made on the TSP theme, so the colours are all wrong  :S , and b) I sew so slowly that I doubt it'll be finished by the deadline anyway. :'( But I'll keep going at my own speed, and donate to Project Linus locally. At least they get another quilt that way. :)

Okay, I'm back on track.  Thanks for your encouragement.  I have found a pattern.

Looking forward to seeing you there, @twopence and @Jobunnie .

I've finished the quilting.  Just the binding to do - I'm not sure if I've got enough of any of the fabrics left, I'll have to play around.

Do you mean your binding made out of bits of different fabrics?  That wouldn't work on this quilt - you'll see why when you see it but you have given me a thought.

No this spare binding that I cut too thin (2") ... so maybe not good for a PL quilt ...

I’ve started a second quilt as my first one meets the Project Linus colour request, but not the TSP colour requirements. However, I seem to be doing as much trimming as I am stitching.
