sadly ...  :(  yes!

It seemed like a good idea at the time ...
But Im going to channel my inner Anita and have a go ..

At least the tracing paper helps with the calculating if a piece will cover the area to be sewn.

Ugh, glad I'm not doing it, it looks as clear as mud. Good luck.

Deborah put it on a reply on the Facebook page.  I'm waiting to find out which are the fabrics that have to have continuity. If they join up to some blocks we did earlier, people who used scraps, as she said, will be in a bit of a mess. Still, I'm learning.  I can see how I might design my own FPP - if I ever want to make another quilt that is!

Hmmmmm......

Yes. The numbers have indicated there are more of these FPP blocks than I first thought. I can't imagine how this is all going to 'gel' together when we're finished...a bit of this and a chunk of that...and this almighty great mystery 'thing' (as the centrepiece?)  ><
It's still no clearer what this is going to be.

I'll be surprised if I like this when it's all done. I'm happy to keep going though. Can't give up now.

Sandra.

Finally but that last one, although relatively easy was a complete B*** because I kept mixing the colours up ... the small top unit was so bad I had to completely redo it and I had to change sections in at least three of the other units that went together to make the last block ... the one with, what I assume is, the flower
