We're sitting on the edges of our seats...  :|
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Better strap yourselves into those seats, have a bucket handy and maybe some sunglasses ...

Just read this and its come out all wrong, I am of course referring to the middle portion of the quilt and absolutely nothing to do with Sandras piecing or colour choices  ><

No offence taken Iminei  0_0  I know exactly what you mean...but actually, my colour choices haven't worked at all well for this section.  -<

It's vile.

Ahem.... ><

Ladies and gentlemen. I present to you...

 :x

Who, in their right mind would like this as a wall hanging or as the centrepiece on a quilt? It's horrible.
Even if I knew what I was creating and had perfectly coloured fabrics, this design is very much an acquired taste.
Did I miss the small-print stating that your feature fabrics will need to be subtle, natural colours to work best?  -<

You can be as blunt as you like in any comments. Feel free to mock it.  0_0
I have a sense of humour...and right now I could do with a good laugh.

@Sandra Well done for sticking to it to the bitter end. For some reason Gilligan's Island kept popping in to my mind as the quilt pieces were revealed.

Perhaps I shouldn’t have looked at this before going to bed - it is the stuff of nightmares!

I admire your perseverance, @Sandra , and wish we could come up with a suitable use for your efforts.

Hmmmm.  But looking for a positive, you've had lots of practice with paper piecing so not a complete loss.
Life's too short for ironing.

Oh my... :o

Beautiful workmanship Sandra!

Nothing wrong with the colours themselves (as Iminei pointed out, see how good they look as a flower in your avatar!)

But the design...  :o
