This seems to be a really nice, simple dressing gown, but the instructions are diabolical, even by Lekala standards.

It refers to 'the trim', but it was only after reading the instructions 5 times and poring in puzzlement over the pattern pieces that I realised that 'the trim' is actually a full lining.

Oh, and I know I'm not skinny, but the belt is 9' 8" long...   :o  I wondered whether for some reason they were folding it lengthwise, but definitely not - it is made up from one piece of the outer fabric and one piece of the trim, and no folding is needed.

I also have a feeling it is going to come up extremely large in other ways too, so I won't cut any fabric without comparing it to my current dressing gown.

*Sigh*.  This was going to be a simple, quick make...

9' 8", crikey, that'd even go round me - and probably a few more people  0_0

Did you put the right measurement for your waist?  You didn't put it in as 8 foot by mistake? 0_0 0_0

:P  Just the saved measurements that generally give good results - although I have learned that when a Lekala design looks as though it's loose, it will generally be very loose.

Maybe they think I'm going to want to tie the belt in a great big fancy bow.
