That's lovely @Efemera. Doing it without the bottom band makes a much neater job. You'll wear it to death as it looks like a good "pull on ya" for every occasion.
I have a pattern for a sweat shirt (gulp said the darksider) and I might modify it to do away with the band. One less thing to worry about.  :)

@annieeg itsthis

I made it up a couple of years ago and didn't like how they did the front bands, this time I forgot and did exactly the same thing (numpty).

I have put a large note on the pattern envolope.

I also added buttons as it opened far too low for me.

I thinkk @Bodgeitandscarper showed it first.  I usually choose patterns other people have used first.

I've just noticed its OOP. :S if you want to trace it you can borrow mine.

@Ellabella now I know why I like it - i do have this pattern  :S
It's a UFO in polyester "silk" in a burnt orange colour and I struggled with the front band which is why I put it to one side!
I must retrieve it and try and finish it.  I really like it in that print you used.

Much as I would love to take credit @Nevis5, I can't.  Mind you that real tidy sewing room, I could adopt.  Love that flooring.

OMG plus 4 today but I was researching a new source of cheap fabrics and I did buy a couple of new patterns this week that the fabrics will be perfect for.

Another project made from the stash.  Only the Ringmaster coat, bow tie, and cummerbund were made from stash, but I used about 3 mtrs in total.  The red satin has been in the stash since Adam was a lad!  Football fabric I bought about 3 years ago, and it's been waiting for a suitable project.

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.
