Haha! No way, I’m very close to Monkton. Small world. I’ve just looked in the window of Anne Louise and Thistle but couldn’t fit the pushchair in. I heard Sueco was right by me as well which is super convenient!

Hello and welcome from me too. Many people spend quite a bit of time practising different techniques on smaller items before braving a dress so well done. There's no right path of course, just what works for you and gives you confidence.

I couldn't see your picture so not sure what happened to that.
Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.
