I’m looking for a warm lining fabric...flannel backed satin would be good or a lightweight quilted fabric...any suggestions?

Lining fabric by its nature tends to be thin and slippery.  If you want warmth, maybe you'd be better interlining the garment?  Or creating a removable cosy inner, like in this pattern (which I made in the 1980's and made it far too warm for wearing in wet (and therefore mild) weather!

I haven't used it, but this looks as though it would be nice.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

That’s the sort of thing @Acorn ....I don’t want to interline it as that would alter the feel of the raincoat fabric. Kasha seems to only be available in the US.

I have used this to line a raincoat. It is light weight but surprisingly warm and it is 145cm wide.
It's not easy being this perfekt
