Anyone sewn cable-knit jersey?

Just had an email from Dragonfly Fabrics and am very taken with this

but wonder how easy it is to work with - and whether it would go very pilly

I bought some of this and managed to pill it in the pre-wash by stupidly putting it in the tumble dryer. I have worn the jumper I made a few times and it looks nice but find it a bit sweaty as it’s totally synthetic. It looks nice and is easy to sew so don’t let me put you off. Just wash gently and don’t tumble dry!
