Please can someone tell me if this will work on a hand-crank Singer?  So sorry this is a daft question but I'm not sure having made a mistake with attachments before  :(  Thank you very much!

I have a (low shank) Husqvarna walking foot which will attach to my Singer 201k but it affects the stitch length - goes all over the place with the WF, but superbly even with the regular straight stitch foot.
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

There are similar brand new walking feet for older machines. They are made to align better with the narrow feed dogs of straight stitch machines. The feed back on them is usually positive, by far. Complaints are more in the direction of durability, some are less plasticky than others. Some find any walking foot work and it doesn't matter much. Which model do you have? The most talked about models tend to be model 66 or the 201, but should work with any of the old low shank machines.

Thank you Brenda and Arrow  :flower:

The foot would be for use on my Singer 201, and possibly my 99, rarely my little featherweight.

Thank you  8)
