Does anyone know of any (probably online) suppliers of decent quality sheeting?   I want to make duvet covers and pillow cases but can't find the fabric.

I live in the East Midlands.

Have you tried eBay?
You can get sheeting widths at Bham Rag Market, but I wouldn't say it's of top quality- perfectly usable though.

There is a Company called FabricLand down Dorset way but have a website,  They sell sheeting but I have never bought it, they send samples, for free I think, although very small.  Might be worth a try.
Willing but not always able :)

If you want 100% cotton a number of patchwork fabrics are available in extra wide (usually 108" = 275cm).  Usable as bedding, but not as finely woven as good sheets.
A few sources are:
Doughty's
Lady Sew and Sew
Remnant House
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

I'd like to think I was inspired, but maybe sewing is just hard wired
