I'm sewing downstairs and got both the overlocker and coverstitch with me. The thread ran out of the overlocker on the lower looper, not a problem, normally.
My tweezers were upstairs (kitty using the bedroom and asleep) so was using eyebrow tweezers. I couldn't thread the needle, I was hot (kept feeling water hitting me), DH asked to help, lasted five minutes before he got tetchy because he couldn't do it. When I got there, that thread broke, a first and second time. I left it, a little later when it did get cooler I tried again. At which point I realised both needle threads hadn't been pulled out of the way and I was threading the looper the same way as I did my old Janome overlocker, Bernina is the opposite way round, lower looper goes on top.
I can't remember the last time I oiled it either.
