Sakar Darling,

considering our phone call the other day, maybe wait for a later swap?
Or if you could lock yourself in a soundproof room for a day or two??

Hope won’t regret this but i’m in!
Sorry already to potential recipient, it may be quite basic as on holiday for part of this time, though could take a machine with me...

Favourite Colours: greeny blues, bluey greens, wines, or pastel greens blues and turquoise’s
Disliked colours: Orange although fine in small doses and not main colour
Style: am fine with anything
Sleeve: not needed

Right now off to find a dog walker and tell my husband he can’t go and do anything in evenings for a few weeks.

I might be 'in' for this one but I need to think first before I commit to it.

I'm waiting for inspiration but it's a bit early and I slept really badly last night.  :S

I'm sure I can find a few bits and bobs of fabric in any colour to be able to join in with this one and I'm willing to have a go at any technique.

I'll be happy to receive any type of mini quilt, a hanging sleeve would be nice but not essential.

I have a bit of suitable wall space in the study, so

my preferred colours are pale pink, mid pink, fuschia pink, silver grey, charcoal and white, and if there is any bling added silver rather than gold.

I’m in....
Not keen on traditional stuff though I do like American Primitive folk art type stuff.
No primary colours. No pinks , purples. Don’t like batik stuff.

Anything funky or modern.
Love lots of mixed patterns.

Would love to have tried this,as I’ve never made a mini quilt ( though lots of quilted cushions), but too busy trying to get a big wedding quilt done by July. I look forward to seeing the results.

What's a hanging sleeve?  I don't know all the P&Q terms yet  -< :vintage:

Just a piece of fabric on the back to slot a rod or baton into so that the quilt will hang evenly on a wall without sagging or bunching up.

I have absolutely no time to join in with this, so of course I’m in :o

My sewing space is in the loft so has a lovely rim of dark roof beams. I’m gradually filling them with small things that make me smile so a small quilt with a hanging sleeve would be lovely, though the sleeve is not essential  I have a dark wood floor and pinky cream walls.

Any style is fine, something made with care and affection is much more important to me.

Why do I do this,  I have so much to do.  Don’t care, I love these swaps.

Thanks @BrendaP I didn't understand what you meant whe you said you could do with a hanging sleeve for the mini quilt swap.  Niw I understand and thanks for the pics, it's given me an idea for the barn owl cushion that is now going to be a wall hanging  :) :vintage:

Oh dear typos evrywhere, I can only blame the 8pm G&T for @Iminei

I'm not sure about this one, what purpose will a mini block have?  I prefer to make something that has a use and I'm trying to think of one  -<  :) :vintage:
