@Acorn I have blouse in a type of bubble fabric.  Can’t iron that or it goes flat.  So I steam it at the ironing board.  If necessary I finger press seams back to where they should be but usually steaming close to the fabric is enough.

@toileandtrouble thanks for those lovely examples.

I've not cut the fabric out yet as have been busy with non sewing things.
I have 2 metres but its only 115cm wide and as I'm a size 18 its going to be a basic front and back I think.

It may end up in the queue behind some curtains so still time to decide what to do.

Hi all, big thanks for all the suggestions for this top.
In the end I did the neckline with 2 inch bias stripes stitched on the wrong side and folded to the front and top stitched, and also on the sleeves added 3 inch bias bands sewn on the right side and pressed open. The hem I did on the coverstitch.
So now I have a crinkle woven T - shirt suitable for a really warm day.
It's in the wash getting re-crinkled at the moment but I will add a photo during the next few days.

What @annieeg said. We have similar tastes. I like your bias edging in the sleeves, that makes all the difference to the design.

Looks lovely @SewRuthieSews  ! as usual!!  I really like the fabric although I think it would try my limited patience too much...

It looks great, and the bias around the neck and on the cuffs really finishes it off nicely.

@annieeg I bought it from the local roll end shop (which doesn't do online sales).

Telephone us on: 01246 855155

I've no idea if they have any left as I've not been in for a bit. They posted it on FB on 24th May.

@SewRuthieSews I phoned the shop and spoke to a very nice lady who said they didn't have any left.
She suggested I pop in and see what they've got - but we had a good laugh when I explained I lived about 300 miles away, so that wouldn't be so easy to do!

The family who run the shop are lovely.
It is about 5 miles away from me, so not too hard to get to, but not right on my doorstep.
