Not strictly sewing but they were with grandmother's sewing stuff.
4 boot button hooks free to a good home if anyone wants them.  I will pay postage.

Just out of interest, what would you use these for? I've never seen or heard of them before.

They were used to fasten the buttons that were fashionable on boots in the Victorian (I think) era.

My grandmother was born in 1900 so may well have used them herself.

Thank you for the info. It must have taken them ages to fasten their boots then. I am intrigued by them.

They're so lovely aren't they and even more so if you know the family member who used them as well.
They look in lovely condition . Really enjoyed seeing them and learning about their use too.
