A pattern to make something like this blouse...
« on: July 03, 2019, 14:16:05 PM »
In my search for something else, I came across this blouse whichj I love, but not the colour so much.
I'm sure I've seen a similar pattern, but cannot remember where, any ideas please?

@Bodgeitandscarper , I'll have a look in the pattern stash.  I'm sure I have something similar.

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Thank you @b15erk , it's the high gathered waist, princess seams and sleeves I'm after.  So the whole design really  0_0

M7930 is a rough estimation but not quite the same (no set-in sleeves).

M7758 has more similar sleeves and bell cuffs but not the central panel. However, splitting that upper bodice up to give you a square panel would not be hard. No darts so just cut a chunk off the centre front and gather the lower piece just between the seamlines

M7597 has the square inset but it's a little different. You could split the front out at the waistline and add bell sleeves

M7325 has the closest middle section but it has a very unique sleeve that extends out from that middle portion.

M7545 has the bell sleeves and the tie neck but the gathers are on the outside rather than the centre. I actually prefer it this way because I think having a flat front is more flattering.

Just what I was going to suggest and the sleeves would be easy to re-create!
A measly 2.5m of stash used so far!
