Yay! Well done.  0_0
It looks so much nicer without the lace 'bib' panel on the front.

Good job, much prettier without the fluff.  I think you made a wise choice with the binding, it will have the right handle for the rest of the garment, which must have been worn and washed a few times before. Something else might not have sat so well
See how nice it is on the Lightside?  Why not stay a while?   >:)

It's a classic garment - very pretty now that the "lace" has been removed from the front. Your aunt should love it. <3

Yes, it definitely looks better with that off-white bib thingie removed 0_0  You already have two or three different types  of white laces edging the sleeves and hem.

She's bound to like it - it's lovely. Are you staying over here now?

You did a great job, @Iminei , and no, @Greybird , she’s not staying here now.  We need her on the dark side.

That's great - looks much better now  AND you've rescued something!  See that you Darkside skills came in useful, attaching binding etc. it wouldn't have been the same with a new binding. :toast:

Oh well done!  That's a pretty good job....see - all sewing skills are interchangeable.  A lovely top for this sort of weather!
I have learnt by my mistakes: Sewing machines now are Bernina 720, Bernina 1008, Bernina 801 from 1981, Brother overlocker, ancient but works well
