Prym Caroline Bag base and wadding

In class on Friday, I started to make a bargello bag.  I have a Prym Caroline Bag base and have used it to join the front and back panels.  I would like to use wadding to give the bag more body, but am not sure of whether to add it before or after sewing the side seams.

ETA My concern is the two layers of wadding and bag base going through the machine.

I've become a fan of Style-vil foam for bag making.  Better than headliner or wadding.

I like soft and stable (similar to style- vil). I normally put it in before sewing the side seams to add more security. It also makes the corners and side seams more stable. I made one with pleather for the first time a few weeks ago. I did struggle to do the sections with pleather and wadding but going slowly and increasing the stitch length on this section helped.
