I'm self-taught so very in need of support when google fails. Happy to be here, and hope I can help others as much as others can help me :). At the moment I'm especially interested in embroidery and corsetry, and trying to do both in my current project

Welcome to TSP.

As you will soon find out we are a nosey lot and like to see what people are making, so photos or links to photos are always welcome.

Welcome from me too. I've seen your post re your embroidery problems, but unfortunately can't help. However, I'm sure someone will have some ideas for you as there's an awful lot of knowledgeable people on here. :)

Ah well in that case! This is my most recent corset toile (with masking tape instead of binding to hold the bones) -

and I'm trying to make the finished corset with this design embroidered on it -

I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but I'm taking it one step at a time

That's the corset rather than my body! It's around a 2inch - 3inch waist reduction here

Welcome from me too.  That is a fabulous design - I love a Celtic knot.
Life's too short for ironing.
