It says Brevete SGDG on the clothe plate, with a sticker that says MC.  It takes a battery, but some old-fashioned type and I wonder if the actual battery connection is missing, so can't test if the motor works.

Just googled the Brevete SGDG and it's not the make, it's to do with patents, so still looking for a maker.

I love the shape of it and like how colourful your collection is.
Shame can't be tested, is it the switch that operates it?
I have a hand Essex miniature and always tempted when one with a motor comes up on eBay, just because it seems so odd such a small machine could have one.

It looks like the switch does operate it, I must have a closer look and investigate what the old type of battery looked like.

I'm intrigued by the Essex with a motor too, as you say, seems odd for a little machine.  I may have to look out for one perhaps...
