Wadding question?

Would 6oz wadding be suitable to pad a dressmakers dummy out please?
Since the menopause my waist has disappeared and as I haven't a clue about wadding I thought one of you lovely people might be able to help me get the right weight before I order some.

I use 2oz in large pieces to cover the body of the dummy. I then use 8oz, which you can pull apart for the padding. The 2oz helps the 8 oz to stick,  together with pins.
