I'm in, as I already bought autumnal fabrics and insulbrite. Can I just say that I really only want one, smaller, as I live alone  :)
Willing but not always able :)

I'll commit myself - I should be able to find a time to sit down at the sewing machine in the next 3 weeks  :)
Life's too short for ironing.

Haven't decided yet.I think some people would rather I sat this one out and I don't want to sabotage a good idea.
When is the deadline @Iminei ?
Triumph of hope over experience :D

@Lowena, why on earth would anyone want you to "sit it out"? Someone said "the more, the merrier" somewhere on the board, and I kinda think the same should apply...
If you see me with a seam ripper, now is not a good time

Let's make a poll? Who is for "@Lowena is in" without being asked?  :P

I think I would like to join but I am not really a quilter and am worried the finish will not be good enough and someone might be disappointed.

I wouldn’t worry about the finish, I’m sure it would be fine. if you enjoy making it and taking part then that’s all that counts.

@Celia Please don’t let not being a quilter put you off joining in. I for one would be delighted to receive a mug rug made using a technique I can’t do myself, such as embroidery or appliqué to name just two.

Yes I wholeheartedly agree, this is not just a Darksider challenge ...

What a wonderful idea to have an embroidered mug rug / coaster ????

Ok count me in. I have done quite a bit of hand quilting and several small quilting items, it might be just what I need to get me back at my sewing machine.

Will we know who we are making for?  Can we ask about size or colour preferences?

And, I also think Lowena should join in, if I'm allowed to since this is the first thing I'll have joined in. :)
