Evening all (said without the outward bending of knees- I’m not as young as I used to be  0_0 )

I’ve been baking all day, a glorious day here too, have had a few calls to book tables this weekend and one customer also asked if I would make her two cakes for her to take away  0_0

Enjoy the rest of the day whatever you get up to

Yesterday we replaced the pendant light in my sewing room/study with a light fitting with 4 spotlights.  The transformation!!!

@Acorn - we replaced the old dim light fitting in my new sewing room with one that has multiple LEDs - the amount of light it emits is fantastic and it is the same kind of light "colour" as my sewing machines. I was worried about possible glare but there isn't any. :)

Another lazy day today for me.  I will be studying my Italian and possibly sewing. When Mr MC gets home we'll make an attempt at getting in the pool.  Hopefully the water temperature hasn't dropped too much since Sunday when it was still 96F.  We don't like it under 88F though at the beginning of the season we can tolerate 86F.    ><

Back from a lovely sunny day at Goodwood Revival. Here I am in my Mondrian dress with the Beatles' minis.  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Dress looks great @Lachica . I've just received pictures from my son and his girlfriend - they were there too and had a great day.

Looking good.
Glad to know the sun was shining as I have young friends who were going.
Must find out more about Goodwood Revival as they are more into an earlier period - 40s swing era I think.

@Kenora it's a long way for you! Thanks everyone for your kind words,. There are all eras, people dressing from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Some make huge efforts and have true vintage, some nod to an era with whatever they have in their wardrobes but it doesn't matter. There's a lot for non racing fans too.   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
