I have a question for tutu makers please.

I have noticed that the last couple of tutus I have made for smallish girls have a bit of an up tilt at the back (duck bum)

What could I be doing wrong that's causing this? It's not just the kids poor posture so I must have done something wrong,  it's  been a while since I made tutus.

You say they are small - is it possible that they aren't filling out the backside of the pants and the tutu is creeping up?  Also, the least bit of a sway back will telegraph out at the outer edge of the tutu.  Maybe you just need to make mockup pants with the netting lines drawn on and see how they sit on the smaller girls.

Can't advise on tutus at all I'm afraid, but when I read this it occurred to me that small girls often have a "tummy". Is it possible that at the front of the garment the waist sits below the tummy and correspondingly slides up at the back?

Thank you both. I have been advised that the high hip might be too tight or the girth a little short. ;)
