Started out this week making a nursery fabric basket as a gift. When looking for fabric, I found a bag of left over bits of non patchwork fabric and was inspired to make storage baskets for the sewing room, then made one as a birthday gift. It got a bit addictive!  -<  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

They only take 45 mins- 1 hour to make @Vezelay. I made the blue one with trees this afternoon to give to a friend this evening. As I say, it’s addictive as it’s such a satisfying way of using curtain remnants etc. Still planning another nursery one for a baby gift.

Do you have a pattern @Sheilago ? How do you get them to stand up?

Those are fab @Sheilago.
I'm looking for suitable containers for pattern storage and those would be much better than plastic boxes, shoe boxes or those that have auditioned so far.  :loveit:
Good idea for a bedroom bin to match my new still-to-be-made curtains too.  0_0

@Lowena, I used 2 different methods to make the bags, but both use wadding and/or stiff interfacing. I used and modified existing tutorials online, but Imi has been  ‘encouraging’ me to put up my own tut of how I made them. I am busy for the next few days, but if you can wait, I’ll see what I can do. I am a complete novice at tutorials!

Imi has even suggested a possible bagathon - so possibly more to follow if people are interested.

If @Sheilago doesn't have the time, these are some free and almost free fabric basket tutorials I've collected.

I might be in for the Bagathon depending on rules and timeframe.  :)
