I want one!  It folds the thread into a loop and stitches it down to make a beautiful chain stitch on top of the fabric. Like couching but with a single thread.  Unfortunately they are very rare and cost hundreds. There is a U spring on it which is irreplaceable.  Surely there are spring manufacturers still?

I've got a Featherweight, but she doesn't have that attachment.    :\
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Yes, one of the most sought after extras for a featherweight - you'll find info about them on the featherweight shop site too. But pricey pricey  :(
