Has anyone come across any on your travels? Have spent hours trawling 'tinternet but cannot find any.
Nacre velvet is the one with a changeable appearance which is created by using one colour for the pile and another for the backing. e.g. the same fabric may appear to be green or red depending how you are looking at it.

From searching, also known as iridescent or shot silk velvet. Fairly pricey as all silk velvets are.

Yes, pricy but nice that they sell in 0.1 metre increments, so you don't have to buy more than necessary.
