Alice in Hong Kong coat

I finished the coat yesterday. It reminds me of happier times in Hong Kong and making it provided a much needed mental escape from reality.
The fabric was designed by a friend of mine and printed locally. I lined the coat (or coat dress, it can be worn either way) with teal coloured Bemberg Ambience.

I matched front and back yokes as much as I could, so they don’t look out of place.

... I matched the centre back seam too - I really believe it is worth doing

Thank you everybody. I wore the coat to school today, and the year 7 kids stated:' Oh, that's Alice.' Then they looked closer and were very taken by the fact that Alice is actually in Hong Kong - the numerals on the clock face are in Chinese, the high rises of the Hong Kong skyline are clearly identifiable , etc. They are now all very curious ad exited about Design and Technology and I got a lot of street credit.
