Just finished this

It’s the Butterfly Cowl by Marin Melchior.

I’m not sure about it :S

I saw her Papillion Shawl pattern on Ravelry and loved it but I’m not really the shawl type, so was pleased when I saw she done this pattern. I love the effect but am not sure I’d find the cowl easy to wear, it’s a bit of a funny fit.

When I feel like knitting something that requires a fair amount of concentration I may try her scarf pattern which is what I should have picked in the first place.

I like it very much, too @Ellabella. I use neck-warmers a lot and would really like one that goes a little way down the back of my collar!

Lovely pattern, @Ellabella. Love the distinctive pattern using yarn rather than different types of stitches. Job well done and enjoy wearing it.

Just had a look at the pattern and found that the long bit is supposed to go down the front but no matching bit at the back  :(  Won't solve my problem then.

What about doing the back the same as the front?  :)
