Was in St Albans doing some Xmas shopping today and saw lots of the yarn-bombed post boxes.  They look lovely and show great imagination.  I do hope they go to a good home afterwards, although they'll need a good wash - it's been teeming down here for days!

So that's what they are called  :)  I see lots of this in my nearest town, they go all up the trees and on bicycles that are chained up.  I have photos of some of them. We don't have pillar boxes here, just little red boxes on a pole, not so good at holding a cap like that. They look fun though

I've also seen it called guerrilla knitting.
Life's too short for ironing.
