I’ve just received the equipment list for my Westalee rulers course next March.

I’ve got most things already but have to prepare 12 quilt sandwiches with cotton wadding.  As my contribution to the Dark Side has been minimal recently I need some wadding and some plain cotton fabric. I’ll have a root through the stash but think I’ll need a small shop after Christmas.

They appear to want you to use Glide thread which I’m not familiar with but will buy some in appropriate colours once I’ve made my sandwiches.

I’m pleased I’ve been given plenty of notice of the requirements. It means I can wait until after Christmas to get things prepared.

I’m really looking forward to this course.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the course @Ellabella having had one diy attempt at ruler quilting with just the basic curved ruler that you get with the foot.  Generally, I got on ok with it - any issues I had were machine issues (skipped stitches and not being able to use the ruler behind the foot) rather than quilting ones.
Life's too short for ironing.
