What needle for two layer waterproof fabric...

I'm just about to sew this Schoeller technical fabric.  It has a sort of rubbery back to it, it's quite thin and stretchy. 
I've used ball point pins (within the seam allowances!) while cutting out, but they were quite hard to push in, so I'm now wondering about what needle to use in the machine - would a microtex one be the best?  Or something else?  Any ideas please?

Possibly a titanium coated needle.

I use a stretch needle for anything with lycra (which this has). Can you try out on an off cut?

Have you tried a universal one? Looking at fabric description it says lightweight so maybe a 12/80? It will likely blunt the needle a bit like sewing curtain tape and become a one garment needle!

I must admit I tend to use a blue tip (Janome, but I think there are other makes) which comes only in a size 11/75 for everything unless it doesn't give a good result then I swap it out. For some reason my Brother overlocker will not accept it though and not sure what machine you use.

Thanks for you thoughts peeps, I think it may be trial and error, I've got various needles and plenty of scraps to try on
