Wow!  Even real butterflies aren't that beautiful on the underside!!   :loveit:
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

I've seen smaller versions with bobbin thread showing on the reverse and a  brooch barthing hotglued to the reverse in an arty crafty place in Salisbury which were being sold at around £26 !

I saw lots, about 10cm from wing-tip to wing-tip, with brooch pins on the reverse side at a local - ish p&q shop about 10 days ago for £4 each, but they all had a plain black reverse as they were not meant to be viewed from that side.

Similar butterfly brooches for £4.99 around here. Didn't examine the backs but the fronts made me think of yours @Iminei I
They're very nice but I find flying / fluttery things a bit disconcerting.

That’s the problem we cannot compete with mass produced often Chinese made products BUT if you market them as individually  hand made in the UK and sell in the right  place some people are still willing to pay a better price for things.

Yours are beautiful

Didn't look closely so I have no idea except they looked stitched. If I go that way again I'll get a sneaky photo and send it to you.

The ones I saw were machine embroidered by one of the ladies who works in the shop. The brooch pin was sewn on rather than being stuck on.
