I have the fabric for a dress and the pattern work is done. I shall cut on January 2!
My job on January 1 is to put away Christmas and then organize my fabric cupboard.
I have more of the black and white animal print velvet for a dress and some wonderful flamingo print cotton for  a blouse or pajamas! Still mulling that one!

while my fabric is not very "jungle-y" it is an animal print... light blue cotton with horses in various shades from dark brown to creamy white. I plan to make a blouse, using LaFred's Athena Blouse pattern. I will need to alter the pattern to fit me better, as the last time I made it was over fifteen years and umpteen pounds ago .

That basic blouse with few design lines will work wonderfully with your print!

I love animal print and have made a few, the last was a leopard print on pink pointe Roma, which I made into a tunic top.  I will look in my stash to see if I have anything suitable.

I have a couple of suitable pieces, may have a look at the pattern for one of them this afternoon.

I don't think animal print is my cup of tea, but I shall watch others' entries with interest  :)

I have already pieced a quilt top featuring jungle animals, and was all set to start quilting it today but had a slight technical hitch - 1m of fabric isn't enough for the backing of a cot quilt and I don't want to piece the back so I've ordered more fabric ordered for the backing.  That leaves me with 1m of this.

Any suggestions as to what it might become?

@BrendaP , how about a pair of cushions?
A day without sewing is a day wasted.

The fabric is very lightweight for cushions though I suppose it could be beefed up a bit with iron on interfacing.

I'm sitting on the fence at the moment. If I do join in, this will be my fabric.

I'm thinking a new purse pattern which I will gift to DD.

I have animal prints, but me doing it (whether I post it or not) is going to depend on where the fabric is and if I can find something to make of it.

It's like, I know I have ponte, rayon challis and crepe de chine in a leopard print, but is it under all the other fabric and do I want to dig it out?

Still marinating on this one, honestly.  If I had a brocade in it, I'd make a swing coat cause that would be snazzy.

Here is my fabric with the pattern photo. Some of the cheetah spots are purple. The contrast will be black. This is a Lutterloh from the latest supplement. I have already drafted the pattern.
