They're great @cakeymcdoodle . I'm nosey, though - is the microscope for stitching inspection?!

@Lachica if only! It's for actual diagnostic work. I'm a pathologist and some days can take slides home and work. The sewing machine gets to sit at the very edge of the desk at night only now   :'(

I like the harem pants too. Great fabric.

As much as I like the way harem pants look I tried a pair once and didn't find them easy to walk in or comfortable in usage because I sit with one leg tucked under the other and constantly switch legs.  Harem pants don't work well for this.

@cakeymcdoodle I thought you might be. It's a nice looking bit of kit.

I just tried this and found it fine, but it might be because this pair have the lowest crotch you could probably have! There's just no restriction in movement.

Unfinished Fabric Object.

I am pretty certain that the only old thing I've finished this year is the jumper I was knitting, but I think I only started that fairly late last year, so it didn't really reach the status of UFO...

I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

But also, if we don't finish we can keep them for next year's contest which starts in about a week...

This will be the third year some of mine have been on the UFO thread, but 2021 is their year!

I think I only completed one UFO this year of the three garment ones I had.  Two garments still exist and I added one dress though that is just being postponed until February.  I still have some partially finished quilts.  Now that I am sewing on the regular I just might actually get to them this year.  Getting rid of the one quilt for my niece (it only needs binding and has been in that state for at least 12 years!) would free up quite a bit of fabric closet space.  She lives in a different state so I'm not sure I'll get it to her since I'm reluctant to ship it.

Thank you.... now I think I need to be honest with myself about the bits I’ve hidden in boxes, in the bottom of the wardrobe, under the bed ... or I can just carry on ignoring them
