Great result from all your work! I like the fabric and the colour. Somehow I'd imagined a deep purple, but the actual colour is much nicer and more wearable. Is it as cosy as it looks?

That is really lovely! Well worth all your hard work. I think you will have lots of people asking where you got it.

Your cape is gorgeous.
I love capes in wool but I live in a warm/hot climate so my opportunity for wearing them is quite limited.

I love it
@Silver Rose
. I have a boucle wool mix in a similar shade but it frays like b'jaysus! I must get it out and have another look.
@mudcat
I wore
this
to my sister-in-law's wedding in the snow in Maryland many years ago. I could have sold it ten times over!!!
The colours are much richer than in the photo. It's a deep moss green.

Thank you everyone, it is very warm but quite heavy to wear. It is a really easy make but it has taken me ages and I lined it too. Because of my sore right hip I have been using my left foot on the s/m pedal which is a bit awkward.
@wrenkins
the fabric frayed badly that's why I lined it to hide the mess inside.
