I just felt the urge to share my new machine wall with you. Shame the wall wasn't bigger so I could have put the rest up too. Still, I managed to squeeze some of my crochet in there as well.
(Yes the shelves are straight. I just needed to use a fish eye lens to fit them in the pic.)

Present 'garage' contains 2 x 28K hand crank, 99K hand crank, 66K hand crank, 66K treadle, 201K treadle, 99K electric, 416, 6104, 401G, Futura 1000, Innovis NV1250 and a Jones CS treadle. New arrival Brother XE1 Stellaire

@snoozi soozi  That little beauty is a Singer Futura 1000 which, I believe, was the world's first computerised sewing machine. Produced in the late 70's,it had still managed to seize up but the usual strip and tlc has returned it to health and it is stitching beautifully. I'm ashamed to say that it has replaced the 401G on the worktable as the stitches are easier to select.

Two more views of the same room showing the treadles and the modern stuff. The overlocker is the odd one out as it hasn't been stripped and rebuilt. Half a dozen more out in the workshop......

Wow, there's some weight on those shelves! Don't you feel nervous sitting under them?  ;)
It's a grand collection of machines.

I've used some mega big bolts and shield anchors to hold the shelves to the brick wall so I believe I may be safe.  0_0

That is the beast, but with his clothes on this time.

I'm always open to assist people. I love taking things apart. Amazingly, they often seem to work afterwards as well.  :devil:

You have displayed your machines beautifully!

I wish mine looked so lovely.  :(  For the most part they are pushed into any nook or cranny which will accommodate them!

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

@Wychall

Impressive collection you have there! Do you still use the SM on display on the shelves?

Hi @Gittje. Thank you for your compliments.

I'm not much of a sewist but I do make sure to use each one of them every couple of months to keep them going. They have each been stripped and cleaned, then adjusted to work correctly. The Futura is used almost daily by my daughter, as is my 6104 which she keeps at her home.
