Hello from Ireland!

Another nameless parenting forum pointed me towards you lovely people.

I'm a newbie to both this forum and sewing. My mum tried to teach me when I was younger but I was not a great student.

I took it up again over the Christmas break and got hooked. I realised that there's tons I don't know hence signing up here.

I'm going to start a course next week because there's a few gaps in my knowledge but I really want to get into pattern adaption and designing my own clothes. Definitely nothing fancy, but I suspect I'll need help with that sort of thing in the future!
Thanks
Irishseahorse

A big welcome to TSP.  We're a friendly bunch here, and we welcome questions, pictures and Newbies!

Grab a  :drink: and a slice of  :cake: and jump right in!

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Thanks for the welcomes! Yes @Iminei, Ty is a Bengal, he's 2 years old now. He's sitting on top of my old girl Sufi, she's an Egyptian Mau and is 14 now.

Welcome IrishSeaHorse - you must let the rest of the Irish/Northern Irish contingent know where you live in the Emerald Isle.....all the best with your sewing endeavours - by the way I'm in the North.

Welcome @Irishseahorse
You have come to the right place for friendly help and lots of Ideas.  :meow:  I agree that your babies should be presented in the pets thread.   :meow:
I am new to sewing so others will have to assist with questions, and I KNOW they will gladly
