I just thought .... gosh that's early.
Sorry, can't do links on the Kindle but look at a website called Fabians trimmings (I found it with a search for braided frog fasteners)
Life's too short for ironing.

Minerva crafts, calicolaine, macculloch and wallis (?spelling) or ebay, just off the top of my head.  Might not do the exact style but they all do black ones.  Or you could make your own, there are plenty of tutorials on the web.

Have just ordered from Amazon ... I tried the link Brenda gave but they were always engaged and that was the only way to order!

I like the look of this and more importantly it was the right size at 17cms long

Hopefully it will arrive shortly, I can sew it on my jacket ...

Q: How would you Girls attach it ... The last one took some time to unpick off the coat as I had sloppily machined it on with no skill or thought at all (this was in Dec/January 95) I would like to do a more professional job this time round ... after that the coat will be ready for the next 25 years!!!

They look (I think) cheap and grey, not black ...
