I’m in the middle of making this coat in a yellow faux mohair.

I’m using canvas interfacing and am surprised that although the instructions have you fully interface the front pieces and side panels, the back piece, cut on the fold, is only interfaced at the top between the shoulder blades and the hem. I would have thought that the back needs the same support as the front and sides. What do you think?

I've made several coats, and don't remember any being interfaced all down the back. I recommend a calico back stay -

that’s a good blog to read at this stage of my coat making. I’m making reasonable progress after stalling with it earlier in the week. I feel like the end is almost in sight!
