@Efemera, the scarf is beyond beautiful. I love the color (so now) and the drape of it with the jacket.

I knit most evenings. Doll clothes mostly but I do hats and cowls. I'm making DD's dog a knitted coat right now. I'm hoping it will fit as he doesn't live close to us. Like across Canada from us.

Thanks for the link to the pattern @Efemera I do have some fingering yarn but not the large circular needle.  I will keep it in mind when I decide to knit again. Yours is beautiful
