So Ladies here we are gaily tripping into May....
The month of May Blossom, May Day, May Flies and Maypole dancing...

And I am going to take you through to this months block

The Twist and Twirl

Oh, that's lovely!

It looks complicated though and I'm going to struggle to decide on fabrics and to decide how big it's going to end up.  -<
It clearly needs to be of a certain size so you can see the spiral twist effect.

I definitely intend to give it a go.

Sandra.

Excellent ladies,

Any questions don't hesitate as I will be right there sewing along with you!
When I come back from work I will cut some more WOF for the squares...

Who knows I may even put some yardage requirements on the BOM tut !

Correctomundo Ladies

WOF = Width of fabric, meaning craft cotton which is usually 42- 44" (with selvage) wide

Ha ha Imi, I was just saying to OH that I need to practice HST's as I need to make flying geese for one of the blocks of a quilt that I won all the fabric for from British Patchwork and Quilting at the end of last year.  Just what I need to conquer.

Now, Iminei, stop it. Just stop it! I've just been to Kate's today and bought fabric to make a sofa throw using the arrowhead block, and now you've been and gone and shown me this! I'll have to go back to Kate's now for some more delish stuff. What a shame.  0_0
