Simplicity 8830 shirt

I finished this shirt last night and will put it in the February shirt competition, although it wasn’t my first choice of fabric from my stash. It’s a bit big though, will size down for the next one.

Stylish shirt :loveit:. I do like the pretty fabric you used and the unfussy collar and cuffs of the pattern. Did you do the epaulets and pockets too? I can't quite see.

Many thanks @Vezelay. Actually I cut out the pocket flaps and the epaulets, but once I’d put the pockets on I realised that these extras were a waste of time as you couldn’t really spot them at all! Yes the pockets are there but I left off the pocket flaps and epaulets. This pic shows what I mean.

I love this shirt!  Fabric and pattern.  I can see it going on the ever growing list of to-do!

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

It's nice, it doesn't look too big, the fabric is pretty  :loveit:
