Aw, @Bodgeitandscarper , he's gorgeous!  And the jacket is as well.  Lucky little chap.  I'm with @Ohsewsimple  though; although I have somehow 'acquired' a ton of little patterns and lots of gorgeous fabrics for babies/toddlers, I don't think anything I make for my equally adorable grandson would ever see the light of day.  :(

He really does look to be a very beautiful, happy baby - it must be Nana's New Coat that made him smile!

Lots of lovely childrens patterns out there @Bodgeitandscarper...

Just sayin'...  ;)

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Oooh, I just found some more of the same fabric, but in a teal blue and a sort of dark beige.  I feel a couple more jackets coming on...

Well you do need to get your money’s worth out of the pattern

I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

What a great photo of a cute baby.  He’s obviously pleased with his coat.

If it produces smiles like that - keep sewing!

And the second bigger jacket is done.  Without the cuffs this time, which made it slightly easier to "bag".  I even thought to colour match each side of the poppers.
