Tula Pink bag finished!

I have decided to be more advanced and braver with my bag making and I am really enjoying it. This is my Tula Pink bag I finished today.

The 2 patterned fabrics are Tula Pink. The lining is a Kona solid and the pleather is from Lisa Lam who does beautiful stuff.

I cant wait to start my next bag!

Your choice of fabrics is perfect and the pattern matching on the front is fabulous. It’s definitely something I’d like to try at some point.

I just treated myself to a new book which arrived on Friday called The Better Bag Maker. I really want to move on from just making simple tote bags with zips, but I felt I needed a project with detailed instructions to follow.

I feel quite keen to get started now.

That sounds really interesting! Like you, I want to move on to something more advanced. I like her current patterns as she has made videos for each part of the project so you could either watch all of them (several hour worth) or just go to the bit you are stuck on.

The next one is a 'commuter backpack' with buckles  etc which will be perfect for me carrying my laptop on my daily commute.
