@Gernella (and any other interested person :D)
What about this one:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pfaff-1222E-Electronic-Sewing-Machine/133442220390

(Bear in mind I have the Pfaff Creative 2134 Sewing/Embroidery so I don't need another machine with a lot of features - I just am looking for a workhorse really.)

@Celia  - what do you think?

Looks a good machine @annieeg and buy now  so no bidding wars.  Maybe others with experience will be able to tell you about any pitfalls with gears etc.

Collection in person, would that be a problem.
Stash extension 2024- 6.1 meters
Left at the end of 2023 - 66 meters now (includes fabric found hidden out of sight)  Lining fabric not included

I'm a bit turn about that machine @Gernella - I think I'll wait and see if the sewing shop comes up with anything next week when they've looked in their storeroom for the older Pfaffs.  I will of course keep you updated with slant development. ;)

I don’t know this model but I don’t think I would risk it unseen. I also think for its age it’s a bit pricey

I'm a bit turn about that machine @Gernella -

Actually I had a laugh because I'm a bit like myself when I'm on a hunt, switching from one idea to another.  Although when I stick I don't dither.

Looks very clean and tidy.

My offer was accepted on the Pfaff 1222.   :D
There's a plus because the seller bought a special foot attachment so you can use modern clip-on feet.
I sold the Janome, bought a Pfaff and still have money

FYI:
During the course of my research into Pfaff's I came across a supplier (I have no connection with them) who has some boxed, brand new, older style Pfaffs - particularly Pfaff quilt expression 2046 (£599.00) and Pfaff Classic 2025 (£479.00) with 1 year warranty.
I thought I'd mention it in case anyone might be looking for that style of machine and didn't want to buy second-hand.
I'm not sure if I can post the business name and telephone number on here but I have the information if anyone wants to PM me.
(@Acorn - hope I'm not breaking any rules with this post. :))

No problem - if it's a business telephone number I can't see there would be any problem.  Do they have a website?
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.
