Hi @lynne - welcome from me as well. I'm another Bernina user but mine are new-ish. Bernina's are great machines whether they're new or old so I'm sure you'll love yours. Looking forward to seeing what you make when you're eligible to post pics.

I make clothes for myself (mostly). I'm not really very good at other crafty things, and to be honest not very interested, but I do like making clothes.

I'm not very neat though, so I'm trying to train myself to finish things off better. A good example is M&M's Ottoline jacket, which I'm halfway through - it has some nice side vents, but they're a bit tricky and I've managed to totally bodge one. I won't be posting any photos of it.
