Hello from Kent
« on: February 29, 2020, 16:48:34 PM »
Hello all,  I knit, crochet, cross stitch and since my DC brought me a sewing machine I have started sewing.  I am hoping to make a simple summer (if we get any) dress and have also just started a quilt using EPP this is not going very well and I will ask for help on the quilters thread later.

Hope to have many happy hours on here and look forward to doing even more crafty stuff.

Hello and welcome to TSP. You’ve come to the right place for both dressmaking and quilting, aka The Darkside.  :flower:

Welcome @CAFCgirl   It's good to have someone else from Medway, whereabouts are you?  I'm out on the Hoo Peninsula.

Hello and welcome from me too.  I'm a Medway (Strood) ex pat but it's 30 years since I was last there.
Life's too short for ironing.

Not sure how to reply to an individual message so I've done it this way!

I'm on the Chatham/Gillingham border Lilian and Ploshkin if you haven't been here for 30 years you wouldn't recognise the place!

Thank you all for your welcomes.  :loveit:

Hi @CAFCgirl - and welcome from me too. I'm another one who used to live in the Medway towns. I was in Rainham but that was in 1979 so a very long time ago. I was born in north Kent but have lived in Cornwall for over 40 years. Looking forward to seeing the things you make, and we'll make you very welcome over on The Darkside. :flower:
